Can I be honest with you?
Talking about my book sometimes feels a little weird to me. It’s not because I don’t like to talk about it. It’s the opposite. I enjoy talking about it. This book is my baby. I grew it and nurtured it and with gut wrenching fear, I released it into the world. Now that it’s out, I’m ecstatic about it! I’m proud of it and feel so much love and support from all of you and I don’t ever want to take it for granted.
However, sometimes I worry about walking the fine line between marketing my book and being over pushy about it. I don’t want to lose people with too many posts about the book and I don’t want people to think it’s about about selling it to make money.
For me, it’s about sharing the book’s message. I believe so much in it that I took a big risk in writing it and choosing to publish it. I want women to read it and relate and know that we can make our own happy. I want men to read it because there are so many important lessons in it.
Your reviews and comments make me feel good because the right messages are coming across and it makes me so happy. You have no idea! It validates my reason for taking the huge risk- emotional, financial, and timely risk.
And you know what too? If I don’t believe in my book strongly enough to market it hard, no one else will!
Your support fuels me to continue to talk about the book. Each review I get, each comment from a friend about how they’ve been able to relate, is a forward nudge for me to continue to keep moving forward. So THANK YOU!
